Manipulatives will help your students count coins!!
- Possible manipulatives to use:
  - Real coins
    - This can be used to introduce the coins, becuase it will give the students a real life conncetion to something they have seen before. These can be used to help idendtify the value of each coin.
  - Fake Coins
    - These can be used once the concept has been gained of the value of each coin. The student can associate the real life coin and use the concepts in the fake coins.
  - Paper money
    - This can be used to give the student to take home. You can make coins on a sheet of paper, and cut them out.
  - Calculator cash register
    - This can be used in class, for a real life simultion, where the students can buy things with their money and get change.
  - Electronic coin game
    - This can be used in class as a fun activitiy.
  - coin cube
    - This can be used for the student who understands the coins, but can not make up thier own change. This will help the student see the different coins together.
